On June 8, 2011, we're adding powerful yet easy-to-use online store functionality to our website creation platform.
There will be no confusing dashboards to navigate. With our system, just browse your site as normal and drop the new "Product Listing" element into any region on any page with a click. One more click, and you'll be setting up your first product.
This has many great benefits and uses for ministries! Use this for when you need to sell:
- Event tickets
- Camp or missions trip t-shirts
- Items for a fundraiser
- Physical CDs of your church's worship band or last week's sermon
- Books your pastor has written
- Workbooks and study guides for Bible studies
- And so much more...
Shortly after launch on June 8, 2011, we'll include the ability for you to sell digital downloads, as well, such as mp3 recordings of your church worship band's CD, ebooks staff members have written, camp registrations, etc.
We tried to make the user experience for customers as intuitive as possible with a well-designed shopping cart and checkout process. Secure transactions are guaranteed on every site and payment processing will be handled by your choice of PayPal, Google Checkout, or Authorize.net.
Perhaps the best news about this is that there are no additional monthly costs for setting up an online store on your site! The only cost for using the online store functionality is a 1% transaction fee (2% on the basic plan) in addition to any fees charged by the payment processor you choose, such as PayPal or Authorize.net.
